It is situated on 911 Bertrand Drive in Midtown Lafayette, near I-10 making it easily accessible to both locals and newcomers. Here at Cafe Habana we pride ourselves in providing a warm and caring caribbean atmosphere to all of our clientele. Cafe Habana City opened its doors in 2002 and was at its time the first Cuban restaurant in Lafayette, Louisiana. The location came to existence due to the extraneous efforts of a small first generation immigrant Cuban family. Thanks to the support of the community, Cafe Habana City was able to expand and purchase a local of their own. To this day all of the food is cooked by the loving hands of Cuban mothers and grandmothers. There are currently three generations of the family assisting customers. The moment you walk in we guarentey you'll feel at home.
